Here and Now

This is a little trick to start blogging again. A quick note on what I am working on right now just to get over the slump. And many thanks for all the kind words and comments.

A while back I signed up for another round of the doll quilt swap. Making a quilt for someone you don’t know, and someone who is a gifted quilter can be exhilarating. And it can be a challenge to make a quilt that does not disappoint. It has been a bit of a roller coaster. Anyway I started to make a little quilt, and then changed my mind and made a second little quilt. So here it is, just about done, with only the actual quilting to be complete.

And have I mentioned that it has been snowing here for two days straight. Yesterday it was wet snow perfect for snowmen, while today the snow is light and fluffy. Looks like this time winter has arrived for the season. I have a lot of knitting and quilting projects underway and regular post should resume soon.
